As any worker could confirm, a sandwich with crispy bacon is perfect for filling, satisfying, and spoiling the stomach. Although it is ideally eaten hot, you can prepare it in the morning before going to work and enjoy it cold during a lunch break. Notably, this practical and delicious bacon sandwich can be made in multiple ways, mixing and combining your favorite ingredients to customize it according to your tastes. Here in this post, I am going to share two ideas on how to make a crispy bacon sandwich.
Crispy Bacon Sandwich (First Way)
- Bacon slices (2-3 slices per sandwich)
- Bread of your choice
- Lettuce leaves
- Bell pepper, diced
- Tomato slices
- Fried egg
- Cucumber slices
Before starting to prepare a bacon sandwich, make sure you have enough bacon. Usually, about 2 or 3 slices will be needed for each sandwich.
Thereafter, you need to choose the bacon cooking method:
Arrange the slices of bacon in a pan and turn them frequently during cooking so as not to burn them. When they start to get crispy, you can remove them from the pan. Drain the cooking fat immediately to ensure more effortless cleaning of the pan. Notably, pan-fried bacon is more crunchy and tasty than that cooked in the microwave.
Arrange the crispy slices of bacon on a slice of bread and add the desired ingredients such as lettuce, tomato, and, if desired, a sauce of your choice. With the addition of a fried egg, your sandwich will turn into a perfect English breakfast. Experiment, taste, and enjoy creating your sandwich.
Cut the sandwich in half. For this step, it will be necessary to have a sharp knife to avoid tearing the bacon irregularly. A bread knife is not suitable for use.
Next, Serve and enjoy your meal.
Please do not use a flame too high to cook the bacon; otherwise, it will burn. You prefer medium heat and slow cooking.
Experiment with some new ingredients, such as onion (you can fry it with bacon), avocado slices, and a slice of Brie-like cream cheese.
Don’t forget to toast the bread before stuffing it.
As an alternative to the pan, you can cook the bacon in the microwave or using the grill of the classic oven. In this case, it will take about 15 minutes.

If you wish, you can butter the slices of bread. It will prevent them from soaking in the bacon fat.
Make a perfect sandwich with a sauce of your choices, such as barbecue sauce or Worcester. However, ketchup will also give excellent results.

- Four slices of white toast
- 4 Slices of bacon
- Olive oil
The night before, wash and dry the lettuce, put it in a fresh-keeping bag, tie it tightly, and keep it in the refrigerator.
Start making sandwiches the next morning. First, heat the pan, pour a few drops of olive oil, and use a shovel to pull it evenly, put it on the toast until it is golden, and then fry the remaining slices.
Next, fry the four slices of bacon, fry until the surface is wrinkled, and it is excellent when there is a slight burnt color. Use the oil-absorbing paper to suck the excess oil.
Consequently, start assembly. Toast the fried side down, then add lettuce, two slices of bacon, one piece of cheese, cover with another slice of toast, and fry the side up to make a sandwich. Use the remaining ingredients to make another sandwich as well.
White toast is recommended for sandwich toast. This is because it has a pure taste and can be used with any ingredients to make sandwiches.
When frying toast, if you use a larger non-stick pan, fry two or three slices at a time, it will save more time, or you can save a lot of time by roasting with a toast driver.
Fried toast can also be buttered. The yellow fried toast is more fragrant, but the calories are too high, so I used a more healthy olive oil.
When frying toast, the fire should not be too high. Turn to a medium or small flame. And from time to time, raise the corner to see the degree of color.
