The chicken club sandwich has been one of my go-to meals lately. I love it because its so easy and simple to make. You can literally have the chicken, whatever flavor you prefer, on your bread with some tomato, lettuce, and a few dollops of delicious, fresh salad on the side. This chicken avocado club sandwich is absolutely amazing, it has everything you would ever want in a super sandwich!

I was super excited to try this chicken club sandwich and see what everyone else had to say. Everyone seemed to be raving about how great it was, even non-cheese eaters. A few days later I was feeling a little sluggish, so I decided to make dinner for myself. As soon as I pulled it out of the air fryer, I was in heaven! This is such a classic sandwich that I wanted to write an entire review on it, but I decided to focus on one of the deluxe versions, which is the chicken salad version.

I started this sandwich by placing three slices of baguette on a plate and then arranging them on top of a half loaf of white bread with a small amount of shredded cheddar cheese on the bottom. Then I placed a half cup of a chicken club sandwich marinade (I use Gibleeze here) on the bread and cooked it for about five minutes. Then I sprinkled a little bit of lemon juice on top of the sandwich and served it with fresh cut fruit.

This sandwich was absolutely delicious. There are so many things you can do with the tomatoes, such as crushed strawberries, avocados, and even red onions. For a nice, cold snack I served myself a half of a roasted portabella mushroom sandwich with some sliced fresh broccoli. My husband loved this sandwich so much that we each took one. I enjoyed it just as much as my husband.

For a lunchtime chicken club sandwich I prepared tuna salad, shrimp, and chicken as well as a small piece of cheese on crackers. I used mayo and didn’t add any additional cheese. When I served this first time I used cheddar cheese instead of the cheese spread on top, but I know many people prefer the sharp cheddar. It was a delicious sandwich. My guests were impressed with the delicious taste.

I prepared this chicken club sandwich the same way I prepare the regular ham and cheese. I used a savory cream cheese spread and then topped it off with the chopped pieces of chicken. I baked the sandwich in the oven for about two hours at 300 degrees. After it came out, I placed it on hot buns with some tomatoes and bacon (my favorite choice) and served it with some fresh vegetables and a crusty fresh slice of baguette.

I have made a few changes to this original grilled chicken club sandwich recipe. I always use a sharp cheddar cheese on top instead of the Mayo. I also add Swiss or Gruyere cheese to give it a nice sharpness. It is a tasty change and makes a delicious meal prep.

For the original recipe I also seasoned the bread with garlic powder and black pepper. I served the chicken club sandwich on whole wheat crackers. It was delicious! In fact, I believe this could be the basis for a number of chicken club sandwich recipes. If you are not too adventurous, you can always use the Swiss or Gruyere cheese with the bacon and avocado ranch for a variation.

We need to watch what we eat and make sure that it is nutritious and that includes having the chicken club sandwich at the end of the day.

You simply prepare the leftover pieces of chicken and bread and in a food processor or a blender, add some veggies (broccoli, squash, red or green, mushrooms), cream, cheese, pepper and a little oil. You will have a fine blend that you can spoon into your mouth without going crazy. You can add additional ingredients to the blend as well if you wish such as avocado, salsa or any additional kind of deliciousness you would like. It can be as spicy as you like, mild if you want it to be and as sweet as ever with a delicious glaze to top it off.

The actual process of making this sandwich is fairly simple. All you have to do is combine all the ingredients and pulse until the ingredients are blended well. You can vary the intensity of the pulse depending on your preferences. Then all you have to do is place the mixture into your warmed loaf of bread and enjoy. If you are feeling a bit adventurous, try adding some tomatoes and peppers to the mix. Some people even use curry powder or mayonnaise to top their sandwiches depending on how they would like to serve them.
